Line operator/setter SMT Level 2 (m/f/d/x)

Aufgaben

Set up and prepare the workstation

• Preparing and setting up the production machines
• Switch on line modules e.g. solder paste printer, pick and place machines, reflow soldering machine, load and start NC programs
• Setting of all necessary mechanical and electronic parameters on all machines of the SMT line according to the respective operating instructions
• Programming of equipment located in the area, e.g. stencil printer, paste inspection, glue dot machine, pick and place machine, reflow oven, loading and unloading systems

Operating and monitoring the system

• Monitoring the system, parts supply and magazines
• Processing and testing of assemblies
• Control and monitor the organizational processes
• Carry out material supply at the plant
• Control SMT production processes according to operating instructions and work instructions

Carrying out medium maintenance and repair tasks

• Cleaning mechanical and electrical plant components
• Elimination of moderately severe malfunctions
• Carrying out moderately severe maintenance and repair tasks (replacement of spare parts)

Quality control and documentation

• visual inspection of first screen print and first assembled printed circuit board according to work instructions

Profil

Working/specialized knowledge

• The job requires specialist knowledge, which is usually acquired through completed training in a recognized training occupation of at least 3 years' standard training duration.

Field of training

• e.g. mechatronics technician, system electronics technician, electrician

Additional knowledge

• Understanding of process technology
• Knowledge of IPC standards, quality assurance
• Good user skills in common MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook)
