Apprenticeship technical product designer (m/f/d)

Aufgaben

The technical product designer creates the connection between form and function. He or she is involved in technical product design and construction. With active participation in product development as well as in the design of objects of use, the technical product designer works closely with engineers and designers. Designing three-dimensional data models and maintaining technical documentation for components and assemblies are part of the training.

• Mechanics and the basics of design theory
• Working with CAD and other computer programs
• Creation of three-dimensional data models and manufacturing documents
• Designing true-to-scale models and working out sets of drawings
• The training lasts 3.5 years
